California Love :)

Fwiends :)

Man do I miss the beach.

Coachella Family 2012 :)

I know this post is about 3 weeks too late......And I also know that this post isn't as "Fashion-driven" as you were probably expecting. I just wanted to post some fun moments in time that I shared with some fantastic people, new friends and old. Along with awesome music and some cute outfits. I had such a good time at Coachella and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to go this year. Stay tuned for more Fashionable-moments-in-time with friends. Summer has finally hit NYC and I have a feeling I'm going to make it a point this summer to be outside with friends as much as humanly possible.

Here's to summer weather and summer love!!

Festival Inspirations!!

It's that time of year!! When the weather is getting warm, musicians are playing outside, flowers are starting to bloom, and music festivals have commenced.
I'm packing for my first blogger trip and it just so happens I'll be blogging at Coachella this year. Today I've featured some festival inspirations, I hope these loud and colorful looks inspire some outfits for future summer concerts or festival extravaganzas to come!!

I just adore this Chiffon floral blouse by Gregory Parkinson :) Great for spring!

Stay tuned next week for some trend spotting at Coachella!!

Cargo This, Cargo that!

The weekend is here!! I hope everyone has a fabulous Easter Sunday planned!!
Today I'm featuring one of my favorite's, the cargo jacket.
This jacket is pleasantly cliche, versatile, and can be worn all year round.
I've featured two  different looks with this Cargo jacket today and I hope it sparks some styling creativity for your wardrobe.

I love this Burnout Jersey dress I found deep in the Urban Outfitters Sales rack. I tied the bottom of the dress into a knot so that my wedges could be a part of the fun and outfit  ;)

Found this adorable skull bracelet at the young designer's market.
Obsessed with the chain detail.

I'm in love with this dress that was given to me by my previous boss and Fashion Designer, Gregory Parkinson. He has a talent for mixing prints and making tie dye look fabulous.

Happy Friday Everyone!!
Hope you have an eventful weekend!!

The trench coat

April is here and so is Spring!! I hope everyone has an excellent "April Fool's Day joke" to share at work today. I apologize for my lack of blog posts recently. I've been preoccupied on the job-hunt front, and I'll be honest interviewing with several employers consecutively is exhausting; thus I've been reaching for the Merlot this past week, rather than my camera. Whoopsie!!
But to make up for lost time, I've featured two looks on styling your trench for Spring today and there will be more looks to come this week!!

Yes it's Spring, but we can't forget those Spring showers that sneak up on us. For this cloudy, brisk New York day I styled my trench with my excitement for spring by using bright pops of color and print, and what better print for spring than purple cheetah!!!?

Love this color of nail polish, "OPI on Collins Ave."
And the necklace is from Forever21, great for "girly" outfits and interviews ;)

I love a comfortable but trendy look,  there's nothing better than finding an outfit that makes you feel cute but is also comfy. For my second look I've paired my trench with my striped sweater dress from H & M and used bright accessories to accent my neutral ensemble.

For those of you who don't know me, I have an obsession with skeleton art and jewelry and I found this little gem at the Young Designer Market in Chelsea. Great shopping spot!!

Happy Monday!!
